Jordan + Nathan

Being by the water has always been my favorite place to be, especially at dusk. There’s an ease and a simplicity. The tides come in and out in a rhythm, bags are packed from a day at the beach and everyone left is soaking in the last bits of daylight. In the craze of the world around us, the ocean brings a calm that is unmatched.

Jordan and Nathan were staying on Tybee Island outside of Savannah, Georgia for a vacation in the midst of their engagement. With wedding planning in full swing, quiet moments are cherished even more. During the time away, they thought it would be perfect to get engagement photos done. It’s so nice to take photos of people while they’re away from their normal routines because there seems to be less pressure. It becomes less of a check on the never ending to do list pre-wedding and more of a time to simply capture a season of life that will pass all to quickly.

Here we have the two of them laughing, running, enjoying and experiencing this time together. And the best part of my job is that I get to laugh, enjoy and experience along side them starting as a stranger but quickly feeling like a friend. This is it you guys - this is what I live for.
